Client Events; Expanding Horizons and Relationships

In connection with the firm's personal planning activities for our clients, during the past 10 years a number of evening presentations have been mounted in such comfortable surroundings as the Metro Meeting Center, the Langham Hotel, and more recently, the Brae Burn Country Club. At each event, an attempt has been made to inform, entertain, and socialize while exploring subjects useful to clients contemplating their own and their family's financial future.

Since 2009, when Weston Wellington of DFA regaled us with his irreverent rendering of the financial media's foibles, a number of notable academic and investment professional spokespersons have spent an evening with many of us in an informal setting. The goal has been to expand our horizons in such diverse fields as the Chinese economy, frontier country investment fundamentals, artificial intelligence, behavioral economics and finance, as well as alternative electric power generation and storage. A complete list of those instructive occasions follows:

33rd Ryder Cup Matches Invitation TFC Financial Management, Inc.

But the thematic thread throughout hasn't been entirely instructional; in 1988, we arranged for our golfing enthusiast clients to attend the US Open at the Brookline Country Club. And in 1999, a very exciting Ryder Cup competition attracted 35-40 of the firm's clients, a tournament which was won by the US when Justin Leonard sunk a 45 foot putt on the 17th green of the Brookline Country Club course in the last round of the final day.
